Notes:So often the Beatitudes are seen as BE- Attitudes. Somehow it gets passed along that this first part of the "sermon on the mount" is a list of things we are supposed to Be or attitudes we are supposed to have in order to be blessed. But if we understand this less as a prescription for behavior modification and more of a description of life in the Kingdom of God, we will discover some very rich teaching from Jesus. So join us in this study as we follow the rabbi.
