The Vine Student Ministry seeks to journey with and help students and their families as we seek and follow Christ together. Here is what that means:

  • We journey… Another way of saying this can be spending time or doing life with students and their families.
    • Often, that happens on Sundays.
    • But that can also mean hanging out at someone’s house or going out and doing something.
  • We help… We want to be a resource for both students and their families.
    • That can be directing a student to a Bible passage or discussing how God might be working in a particular situation.
    • That could also mean having discussion with parent about adolescence, youth culture,  upcoming events, etc.
  • We seek and follow Christ together… We, both, are trying to do the same thing: growing in Christ.
    • We are maturing disciples. Being a disciple is not a one-time thing. It is a daily thing. The student ministry desires to encourage students to grow in knowing God’s word, being in relationship with God, and being the people God says we are.
    • We are making disciples. Jesus told his disciples to make disciples. We are not to solely focus on ourselves, but be a light and love others so that they may know who Jesus is and why we follow Him.
