Mark Gaeta was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, and grew up with the NY skyline outside his bedroom window. Eventually, Marks family moved to Bayville, NJ, near the Jersey Shore. On a family vacation in 1987, the Gaeta’s unexpectedly moved to Port Richey, Florida. In 1990, Mark was baptized at First Christian Church of Bayonet Point. The ministers at FCCBP encouraged Mark to attend Florida Christian College to prepare for full-time ministry. At FCC, Mark met Mari Bender (a preacher’s kid) in college. They both graduated from FCC and were married in 1996, just a few weeks after graduation. God has blessed Mark & Mari with 4 children- Madalyn, Marisa, Mason and Matthew. Mark considers his family a treasure from God (Proverbs 18:22, Proverbs 15:6). In 1998, Mark & Mari began their ministry at The Christian Church at DeLeon Springs where they served for almost 9 years. Mark’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 73:23 Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. One small thing Mark enjoys is walking hand in hand with his children, so he figures that God must enjoy it when we walk hand in hand with him. Some of Mark’s hobbies are baseball, football, reading, music and trying to become a publishing writer. Mark’s ministry at First Christian Church of Monroe began in May 2009.
